Faq’s

  • You will need to secure comprehensive insurance for the vehicle, covering damage and liabilities. This must be for the full duration of your contract. We recommend that you check for quotes before applying for a specific vehicle.

  • You will make your first payment on the day of collection or delivery and then regular payments on a fixed day each week. Payments must be made on time and there is a £10 fee if your payment is six days overdue. If you miss two payments consecutively, you will be in breach of your contract, and it will likely be terminated.

  • We understand that credit ratings don’t always reflect someone’s ability to pay. That’s why we conduct our own affordability checks. On applying, we will ask you a few questions, which we will then use to determine your suitability. There is also the option of having a guarantor to co-sign your contract.

  • Yes. There is an initial holding deposit to secure the vehicle, which can be refunded if after viewing the vehicle you do not wish to proceed. Once the contract is signed, there is a damage deposit payable. Your holding deposit will be subtracted from your damage deposit. The full deposit is refundable minus deductions for damages or non-compliance when you end the lease.

  • We cover annual servicing and the MOT. We also include an extended warranty as standard for the duration of your contract. Repairs due to normal wear and tear are also covered, except tyre replacement. We even cover your road tax.

  • Yes, after six months with one month's notice. You can also upgrade or change your vehicle after six months. Just keep in mind that there might be costs associated with termination earlier than six months.

  • During the handover process, we will inspect the vehicle together. If you are not completely satisfied, you will not lose your deposit. Once you have signed the contract, the minimum term length applies. Cancelling your contract early will result in all outstanding payments needing to be fulfilled.

  • The vehicle is meant for personal, family, or household use, including commuting. Using it for commercial purposes is also allowed, however the contract terms and conditions vary.

  • On returning the vehicle, make sure it matches the initial condition in terms of damage, cleanliness and fuel level, and settle any outstanding payments or charges. There will be a charge if we are collecting the vehicle, but you can return it to Broxbourne at no additional cost.

  • No, you cannot sublease the vehicle or transfer the lease without the owner's prior written approval.
